when he laughed

 A boy alone
Lying on the bed
Half awaken heard a sound
He woke up frightened
Peeped through window
There were no signs
 Of   any presence there
Sense of Imagination of presence
Was so strong
That he could not go to his bed
He peeped again and again
This time he noticed a cat
Carrying a mouse trapped in mouth
As his fear had gone
He laughed and enjoyed
The instance of his silly thinking
